I'm looking to put more scope on my do all rifle (Kimber in .280ai
with a 3-9 power Bushnell) . If I take my time putting the crosshairs on target at anything past 150 ish yards I can't really see the target. The shots I've taken at a wolf and and bushels of coyotes at anything from 250 to 400ish were all very quick shots but they all seem to connect. I can see out that far clearly through a higher power scope though when i have the time.
Am I doing something wrong?
I would like to start shooting paper and steel at longer ranges so a new scope isn't out of the question. What would you guys suggest?
I'd like FFP (less maths)
I'd like a "tactical" elevation knob
I'd like an uncluttered reticle (ideally just crosshairs)
Definitely moa/moa. I think in standard. Moa is less mathematicals to me
And I'd like "cheap", I'm Dutch lol say under a grand
What do you fine peoplekind have for input on both things?
