Scope turret came out

Hello,

I was wondering if anyone had encountered this or knows how to fix it. I received a second hand scope and it sat for a few months while waiting for other parts for my build. When I finally got to take it out, I tried removing one of the caps to make an adjustment and the whole turret came out! I can't get the cap off of the darn thing. Does any one have any suggestions?

I sent in a old pair of Bushnell binos without any receipt/documents that had failed on me and they sent me a brand new pair.
Send it in and Bushnell will likely repair or replace them.

so it'll cost u 10 bucks for out of warranty service or at least it used to- bushy has done a lot of work for me over the years out of the Richmond hill branch BE PATIENT- they're extremely slow

It be interesting to see if they'll warranty it. It looks like one of those cheapies that come with certain rifles.

That's one of the generic, garbage, free chinese scopes that ships with a wide variety of package rifles. Trash it and get something that isn't trash-worthy. It's not worth investing the effort into warranty.

True. Most of put that on is a cheap 22.

Bushnel does not ship their scopes in plain jane cardboard boxes. That and the scope itself doesn't look right lead me to agree that this is most likely a clone. That being the case, no warranty for you. These things sell for peanuts on ebay, and can even be bought in bulk on other sites, and are sometimes re-sold by unscrupulous types as the real deal. Sorry for your luck.

You brought up a point I didnt notice. The brown box is what comes with the rifles that comes with the cheap scope package.

That brown box is the inner portion of the redfield scope box that the guy replaced this scope with, not the one that this came in. That being said I have no way to know if this was a cheapo one that came part of a bundle or not. I’ll reach out to Bushnell and see what they say
