Scope values

I have a couple of scopes that I am not using. I'd like some feedback on the values of Leupold BR-36 fixed power and a Sightron Slll 10-50x60. Both have fine crosshair reticles. Both appear to be in perfect condition. No family members interested in long range target shooting so I will probably sell these.

I'd say the Leupold is around $1300 and the Sightron about $1700 on the used market

Seems like a lot?? I searched them on web and even in the US these things are quite dear. I think I'll list these on the EE. I will never use them. Thanks for the reply
