So, after a successful but eye opening hunt for Elk down south, I decided to build a .300 to have in the truck the next time I find the buggers at 600 yards (didn't feel comfortable with my hunting rifle and cartridge. I practice often and if the hunt organizers had allowed my .338 I'd have loved to have run it).
That said, it needs an optic and as it is almost built, Im wondering;
Im taking the Vortex Razor 3-18 off of my .338 LM, and putting it on this Remington. Should I;
Buy a 4.5-27 of the same scope,
Or buy a Steiner T5xi 5-25?
I like both, both have solid reticles and warranties, it just comes down to adjustmen range (120 minutes Razor, 90 minutes Steiner) and weight. What say you, forum?
