I have a scope that had gotten wet and (from what im told) muddy on a quad ride a few years ago.
To warn yall, I know NOTHING about scopes/glass/cleaning/etc. But I am mechanically inclined.
It looks decently clean while looking through, but I would like to clean it out.
On the side "BUSHNELL CUSTOM-M 2.5 POWER"
On the bottom
"2.5X20 JAPAN"
"BL NO.D402629"
On the rear the big part unscrews, and there is also a locking ring type looking piece.
Do you turn the big part until the desired image/range is in focus, then tighten down the locking ring?
On the front it is not as simple... It appears to be a sleeve that I could pry off, then there are two indents on the fitting closest to the front glass that would become accessible. But i dont have a clue what I should do.
So, what should I do to clean it, and what products should I use to clean it?
The scope is NOT that dirty, its just how the flash is shining off the dust.
