Scopes without mounts.

Does the "stock" m-305 have a scope rail on it already so you just need rings and the scope, and then one of those $100 fancy mounts from marstar allow you to use both sights? Or is the fancy mount a requirement. Im just in the midst of my first m 305 purchase!

No, you need a mount. As others have said, steel is better than aluminum. The Marstar mounts are both aluminum. The A.R.M.S. and Smith mounts are steel. Buy what your buget allows.
