So I finally found a load accurate enough in my S&W 29 (8 3/8" bbl) that I want to start playing with a scope. I have zero experience scoping pistols, and wanted to get the benefits of y'all's experience with bases, rings, and optics. Let's say I'm concentrating on shots at 100, 150, and 200 yards, using a 240 grain load at moderate velocity--nothing crazy. What would you use?
