scoping an H&R single

Picked up an H&R single shot in .204 recently:

What height rings are you running (weaver base) to clear the hammer?

I used medium rings, took a bit off the hammer with a dremel and added the hammer spur. Otherwise you gotta go highs to clear the hammer or even extra high depending on the scope.

Same with Cummins4x4, I use the Burris Signature Zee Medium rings with zero clearance problems.

I had a .223 hani-rifle for a while. I used extra high for a bushnell 3-9x40mm

I used med rings and bobbed the end off the hammer with a dremel tool. Worked well.

I use a Bushnell trophy red dot on my .243.

Medium Burris Zee rings with an Uncle Mikes hammer extension did the trick, thanks Gents!

(Didn't have to bob the spur, either).
