I have a buckmark target rifle, and it shoots pretty good considering I'm just using a red dot at the moment.

I was looking at the vortex diamondback 2-7x35 v-plex scope, but on these rifles the slide comes back like on the buckmark pistol. I'm not sure if this scope has the required eye relief.

Does anyone have any experience with scoping this rifle?

I don't have the rifle but I own two Buckmark pistols. If the scope has a 3.5 inch eye relief there's no way the slide is going to hit you.It only travels about 3/4 of an inch to eject a .22 case.Try you tube for a demo.

I scoped mine - worked fine

Just make sure to wear eye protection - the action kicks unburnt powder into your face - there is a risk of corneal damage over time
