What is the recommended scope system for my Norinco M14? I am istalling a USGI stock and want it to look great and aim even better down to 300 or 400 yrs.

Thanks

PS Where would be the best place to purchase this scope and rings on-line or anywhere else.

300 years is a long time! :D

The ARMS 18 is pretty much the standard against which all others are (generrally unfavourably) compared.

This is the same problem that happens with the New (long) style of arms mount.

This stovepiping is usually tells you that you need to change your ejector spring or even the ejector.

GG&FB

please, describe this process step by step, if possible....
really need to solve it....
thanks for reply....
looking forward for the real good useful suggestion :)))))

The chicom ejector spring is longer than the USGI one. This ensures that your brass will attain great distances after being ejected from your rifle. The problem is that the scope mount is in the way.

You can disassemble the bolt and cut the ejector spring down. I have no idea just how many coils would need to be cut to render it the same as an USGI spring. Maybe someone could step in here? Or you could replace with a USGI ejector spring.

My TRW bolt with USGI guts (thanks again GG&FB) always drops the brass about three feet away. It doesn't hit the scope mount.
