Whoooeeeey! I visited our local gun show today. There was not a lot there that I could
not live without. But!! A friend says to me at the gunshow. "You have a 8mm Rem Mag, don't you?"
"There is a bunch of brass for sale at the table on the corner." Sure enough, 4 bags of 50 rounds
of brand new 8mm Mag brass. I sure scooped that in a hurry. The price was very attractive, as well.
A pleasant surprise, to be sure. D.

Finding nice brass at a good price always feels good. I can only imagine when its scarce like 8mm rem mag. Get shootin.

I know that feeling and that is why I never miss a local gunshow if at all possible. Like your example shows who knows what is lurking on those tables, good grab!

I bought a 50 cal ammo can of 38 Spl brass yesterday for $15. And a box of 1000 148 BBWC for $50. That will keep me busy for an evening or two, once I develop a load.

Went to a small gun shop in Aurora, ON last year and Voila! a bag of 50 new 35 Rem for the 10 year old price. Then went to the 'gun store' next to Elwood Epps and Voila! a box of 1960s 35 Rem Dominion ammo at decades old prices (with an extra round jammed in the bottom of the box!). As for gun shows, went to a show in Bracebridge of all places and there on the table before me were 3 boxes of (non corrosive) Win 401 ammo. Yes, living here too.
