I don't gloat very often, but I can't help myself this time.
Just picked up an RCBS Pro Melt furnace at the Buffalo Shooting Center...... brand new...on sale.....last one they had....for $299.99 !!!! It lists on RCBS's website for 439 American and lists for 499 Canadian plus shipping and tax at Wholesale Sports !!!!
The icing on the cake was that we were on vacation in Florida for 8 days....NO EXTRA TAX !!!!!!!
Also picked up a few other bits and pieces. One set of RCBS mold handles, RCBS 300 win mag die set for $29.95 USD, 4 packs of decapping pins - yea, thats a lot, but you know what they're worth at 11pm the night before you're going out and you break one. Also a few other bits and pieces.
The girl at the boarder asked what we had. I told her. She asked what the reloading press and furnace was for. I told her it's to make bullets. They're too expensive to buy now, so people are making their own. She then says "but you don't have any actual bullets or anything like..." I cut her off and told her "I am VERY aware of what OUR import laws are, as well as the export laws the U.S. have now, and I've been very careful not to cross any lines"
She smiled and told me to have a safe trip......
