You've forgotten that in Ontario we have HST, so, the real price from Tenda is $299.99+HST=$338.99/500=67.8c/round. Furthermore, Tenda has free shipping starting at $300 so you need to buy another small item to make it $300. But you are right that Tenda is in 99% of cases hard to beat.
As a general thought, the prices of 7.62x39 ammo are getting very close to the prices of .223Remington/5.56NATO. At some point in time, the 7.62x39 guns become pretty expensive to shoot. Time to switch to .223Remington/5.56NATO??

I haven't forgotten anything, I was responding to someone who quoted G4C's price which is $0.67/rd before tax which comes out to $0.75/rd after tax. Unless G4C in Markham, ON, doesn't charge HST.

Tenda is about 11% cheaper and ships for free if you spend $0.01 more.
