I think most would agree that Scorpion products are junk, there one redeeming quality was supposed to be their warranty, I have one of their spotting scopes that the ring mount broke on, it was threaded to a shooting stick and I was carrying the stick by the handle when the ring broke. In Scorpions opinion this is "cosmetic" damage not structural and so not covered. They know it is a problem and only after I complained did they tell me they were working on a solution and would send me an after market replacement ring if and when one is available. I already have another better scope but potential buyers should be aware of this lack of coverage. Not sure how you use a spotting scope without some kind of tripod or support. So if you can, save your money for something a little better.
