Scout base for a Swede M38

Can anyone recomend a scout scope base for a M38 Swedish Mauser? I tried the B-Square on my M96 years ago and will never use another again. Also anyone got a line on a cheap LER scope?

You'll have to drill & tap for sure (Unless you get a scout style mount)..Would be similar to a Parker-Hale or any mauser except Ruger's.

My guess, go Leupold or Weaver.

I don't want to D&T. It has to be a non gunsmith type mount.

There's one called an S&K mount.....something I was considering at one time.

I use an S&K Scout mount on my Israeli 98k. It works well for me. I use a Bushnell 2-6 X 36 long eye relief scope. I might put it up for sell in the future.
