What are the advantages/disadvantages of a forward mounted scope?I am wondering as I shoot right handed-but have a left master eye.Would a forward mounted scope be a help or a hinderance?
 
Funny-I shoot a bow left handed but do everything else righthanded-including shoot my rifle.I can use my right eye for the scope by adjusting the focus[opensights are out of the question] but my left eye is definately stronger

Most "forward mounted scopes are setup like this so you learn to shoot with both eyes open ;)
Should help you more then hinder:cool:
 
yes,that possably would help,if I could shoot with both eyes open.Right now I shut my ''good ''left eye-and use my right eye.It works-sort of
