I'm thinking about scouting my Lee enfield no4 mk1. Has anyone tried using the Pistol scopes available from marstar? I don't feel like dropping 200+ bucks on the real deal from Burris or Leupold, so I thought this might be a more cost-effective method.

Thanks in advance.

I don't know specifically about the Marstar scopes, but pistol scopes in general have too much eye relief for scout use. Most of the ones I have tried need to be out around 20 inches or more from your eye. A typical scout scope mount on a rifle puts the scope around 10 or 11 inches out, so you will see only a small portion of the already-limited field of view. Best to try before you buy.
