Scout Scope Mount for a Mosin Nagant 91/30?

I'd like to put a scout scope on my Mosin Nagant 91/30, since I can't see @#%^ all using the iron sights (front post covers up targets at 100m). I've seen cheap chinese ones online, but I figure they probably won't stand up to the recoil or hold zero.
I know there are PU mounts and scopes, but if there's a less drill and tap method then I'd like to know.
Anyone have some personal experience with any reputable brands?

Believe it or not, but the combination "brass stacker" scope mount (http://brassstacker.com/mosin-nagant/scope-mount/), which allows you to use iron sights too if you want it, with a NcStar 2.75X22 Long Eye Relief scout scope is VERY nice set. Price for these two items is 150.00$ with tax and shipping.

That scope is clear, well done and works perfectly, even with hot loads. I use it very often with my 91/30 and for its price, I strongly recommend it.

Thanks for that recommendation. I've already picked up a mount & scope, but if I have issues, I'm definately going to try to get one of those brass stacker mounts.

And excellent service from that company... Easy to install too (a few minutes max.) and strongly built stuff.
