Scrapping turkey weigh-ins in ontario?

just read a post by someone that the mnr is thinking of scrapping the mandatory weigh in for turkey in ontario. has anyone else heard of this or is he just having a little wishful thinking?

I have heard the rumour also, I heard they were exploring the possibility of a phone in, rather than the check stations.

Just rumours so far tho...
