Scratch line on Remington 870

So I got a brand new 870 Express Tactical. After I cleaned and lubed the shotgun and racking the pump a couple time, I started noticing a scratch on the magazine tube. I know that from time, the magazine tube will show some rubbing but this seems to be a deep scratch. It's only on 1 side at 3 o'clock. I examined the inside the forend tube and I can feel a slight dent which is causing this.

Let me know if it's completely normal or I should send it for warranty work? One thing that really sucks with warranty work is that I have to cover the shipping cost to the Remington repair shop. I tried contacting the shop that sold the shotgun but they are not answering phone or email. They are based in Toronto "go t"

file down the burr yourself. should only take a few minutes.

2 minutes with a file and maybe some sand paper, or send it away?

what grit to file so that it's all smooth. The burr is inside the forend so it's not an open space.

Use a jewellers file. Should be able to fit in the tube.

Something abrasive would probably remove the burr but did your measure the bore of you 12 gauge? You may not be able to take it out of the safe. Most likely prohib since oic.

A rub is normal, but a scratch is not. Like the other guys said, you should be able to find and remove that burr quite easily

While you have it torn down, you may want to align the bars as well. This will minimize the drag.
