Contact Alberta Tactical Rifle, I believe they have exactly what you're after Ina DPMS barrel. Very reasonably priced and great to deal with.

For your question about my rifle twist preference, its because I will shoot mostly 55 gr and I will use a .22 convertion kit. With a 1/9 twist, it will be accurate for both. But if you prove im wrong, I may reconsider.

I reached Questar for a RRA 14.5 inch barrel but they said the item is restricted for export in the US.

I saw some 14.5 inch barrel around the stores but they were 1/7 twist.

Satain: I tried to reach Armseast but I guess I had an old Email, nobody replied :-(

For Klemmy31: Ok, I'll send them an Email

There is no hard and fast rule like that. Every gun is different and will prefer different bullets/powder etc.

I have a 1/7 that shoots 52gr SMKs better than 77gr SMKs.

I'd say the quality of the barrel and ammo has much more of an impact on accuracy than shooting light bullets in a fast twist barrel.

In the end, a 1/7 will shoot any ammo you get your hands on. With a 1/9 you are limited to what ammo you can shoot.

That's the thing: it depend(Is whatt I read on many discussion board). Some 1/7 barrel will shoot well 50-55 gr without problem, some others not. Yes the quality of the ammo also as a play but im not planning to ALWAYS feeding it with quality ammo, since it can get expensive. Same story when shooting .22 LR from a convertion kit. I will play safe and go with the 1/9, I know it will stabilize any 55gr I will feed and will have decent accuracy with the .22 LR convertion kit.

Claven2: Yes, I think it's exactly what I want! Thank you!

Browninautorifle: Your PM is received, ill check your photos in 2 days.
