Sears .22 parts

the Sears is a Cooey 64....unless it is the Sears USA model 6C which is the Winchester 490. Many parts for the Cooey can be picked up right here in the parts section of the EEs. Ejectors and extractors are available from many places. What other parts may you need? Magazines from Savage Arms directly.

Ok, so I found a site that sell everything but I'm not sure of the names of the parts and there is no pictures. Does anyone have a blow-up with labeled parts of a basic semi-auto .22????? Please and thank you.

There is no site pertaining to the Cooeys. Most info is garnered thru members knowledge.. I will search for my schematics of the model 64. but would need am Email addy to send it. They are a very simple gun to disassemble, repair and clean.

I adore my '64!

Iff you can post a pic of your rifle, it will be much easier to get some help. As Mr. Toymaker (worth reading his stuff!!!) suggested, there are 2 different Sears .22's called a 6c. If your's is a '64 copy, parts are readily available through Savage and, in the EE.

I'm not as familiar with the Winchester but, can't imagine them too hard to find parts for.

I have the USA Sears 6C ( Winchester 490) and it is a totally different gun than the Cooey 64 (Sears 6C), Parts for the USA issue are hard to come by as a search for Mags took several months to find. Now that the USA has stopped most parts suppliers from shipping to Canada, it will be more difficult to find repairs.

Flat steel. On the video I watched the guy just pulls his barrel on and off with his hand. Mine wasn't so easy. It took some "gentle" tapping with a hard tool. So yeah, my bad but I bent the steel ejector.
