I scored a mint Model 8C Sears.. "Made in Canada for Simpsons Sears Ltd".
It came with two magazines and a Weaver Marksman M3/4"-4X USA.
I also scored a Savage 24C-DL .22 mag / 20ga. This one will be a mate for my 24C-DL in .22/20 that I bought in 1966.
Bought the Sears at the Saskatoon Gun show.
The Savage was a private deal that came about because of the show.
In all the years I have been going to gun shows, I have only ever seen one DL. I think mine was around $120 new back then. I paid a heck of a lot more for this one!! I didn't try to dicker at all. I told the fellow what I would pay and made sure it was a good offer.
