Sears, Roebuck & Co Ammo

First time postin' in the ammo section although I've been collecting ammo and boxes now for almost 40 years - anyway I've collected and burned through a lot of ammo loaded or distributed by now-defunct companies and ventures over the years, but hadn't come across any Sears, Roebuck & Co before - I was just given this box and I collect old ammo boxes (especially when they are full); curiosity has me. The fellow who gave it to me has been around for much longer than I have and hadn't seen one either. I was aware of Sears,Roebuck .22s, didn't realize they loaded centerfire. The empties in the box are just assorted headstamps so that doesn't help.

Any info is appreciated, for my own interest; I'm thinking the "1-63" may be a date code (1963)? The typeset suggests it could be:
