Left Ladysmith around 4am, picked up the crew at lake cow turn off, at 4:30.
Took off to Nitnat, not knowing the area we turned off onto a random logging branch and started climbing to the top.
got to the very top of the very last road on this hill, and after deciding to turn around, luckily for us the turn around was at the very end of the road. looking to our left we seen a nice sized black bear standing up looking at us.
bailed out of the truck and the bear disappeared. my hunting partner heads towards a bluff that would over look where the bear was.
as i head in a strait line to where it was, scoped up seen nothing. lowered the rifle and the bear pokes its head up to look at us again, 270 into the mouth, with a deflection to the head.
