Got to go out and try my luck for some yotes again this weekend and came out with my second one. 
Just to give you an idea of where Im hunting them. This is a shot not to far from where we park the truck.
There two valleys here. The big one on the left side and the other smaller one by the tress in the top right of this pic. You can see the high ground between the two.
After humping a little ways up and down some of those ugly hills on the right side of the big valley we set up the caller and did some rabbit distress calls for 10 minutes. Since I dont have a very loud ecaller we were about to move to the next hill and try there. But thanks to you guys with the great amount of info you guys provide. I slowly got up and looked just incase there was one not quite revealing himself, and sure enough we saw this yote peeking over the top of the next ridge just looking in our direction. Got back down in the prone without him noticing, but he was hiding behind some trees. I guess thats why I didnt see him. With him still peeking over the hill I managed to shift over about 2 feet where I thought there was a big enough opening in the trees to squeeze a shot off. Sure enough with just alittle opening in the trees and him just sticking his head and neck over the ridge I heard the infamous pop of the bullet connecting.
You can see him layed out halfway down on the right side. Also the trees I had to shoot through to get him in the lower side side too. I would say it was just over 100 meters.
Hes just a little guy but he still counts lol
