Securing a castle nut without staking it?

I figure I'd post this here since I'd probably get more responses than in the black and green shotgun section.

I have a Mossberg 500 with an NEA AR stock adapter. It was kind of an impulse buy, not well thought out. When I'm shooting, the recoil is loosening the castle nut and the buffer tube & stock are twisting around on occasion (probably twice per 100 round shooting session). I have a castle nut wrench to tighten it back up, but still it's annoying. Staking the castle nut isn't an option, since the buffer tube needs to be removed to get at the adapter, which needs to be removed to field strip the gun. So what should I do to secure it? Use electrical tape?

Any suggestions would be appreciated before I give up and get a Magpul SGA.

Mine isnt staked and never comes loose I have in the past but a bit of clear nail polish on the threads (same as loctite is suppose) when I took the gun hunting or hiking

Yup, blue loctite worked for me as well. Heck, my staked castle nut on my DD M4V5 came unstaked and I just loctite and tighten it back up again and it hasn't come loose in around 400 rnds so far.
