I picked up an old Baikal 20 gauge single shot from my dad after deer hunting and the front bead is missing. It did have a .177 bb stuck on it and unless you looked very close you didn't notice it was a bb, but it fell off, so I am thinking of just doing the same thing. What would be a good adhesive to keep this thing stuck on?

Most beads, other than some Browning press fits, are threaded and can be used with a thread locker.. Common sizes are 3-56 and 6-48. I have aluminum and brass in both sizes. PM me, I can mail one out for $5.

I don't think the Baikal had common thread sizes, but yes you are better to buy a shotgun bead and screw it in. You should ask around for a 6x48 bottom end tap and a tap wrench to re-tap the threads on the barrel to 6x48. Make sure you do your best to run the tap in straight. Check Youtube, and maybe there's a vid on the matter.
