I have an old pick up truck, there is no place in the cab that is out of reach of the driver. I think the rules say firearms should be in the trunk, if at all possible, my other vehicle was a van . No trunks anywhere.

Not at all RePete. An OPP or other Ontario-based officer might give you a hassle, but if it's a locked container, that's all you need (and a trigger lock if restricted).
