seeing my shots in flight

Sun behind, and fresh snow in front shows slow bullets quite easily-I remember watching every shot from my Enfield revolver go downrange last winter. Those 200 grain lead slugs looked like little zepplins moving along at a mere 700 fps...

cool it is. Never seen anything as realistic - sound, time in flight and the bullet itself arriving to the other end of the shot. Pretty amazing actually.

Can't take the credit for filming, that was my son Nessy1022.
I have another one hitting the gong, but you can't see the ball.
Catching the ball in flight, I think it was a matter of being at the right angle to the shot.
IMO a patched roundball has roughly the velocity and is close to the same trajectory as a .22

Cheers nessy.
