I Have a rifle i am having a hard time finding any info on.
It is a Husqvarna . .30-06 Nitro stamped on the barrel, serial # is 6 digits long 507***.
On the top of the barrel it reads FFV Sports, Inc. , New York N.Y. -usa.
On the receiver it says FFV-Husqvarna. Sweden.
It is Very Clean. Engraved and embossed drop pan. Red wood tip on the forearm.
It has not been drilled and tapped for Iron sites and has a older (???year???) weaver 6x weaver scope model # K-6w.
I am hoping to find some info on what it is where it was made and what it is worth.

Go onto the Tradex site from the link at the top of the page and comapre your rifle to the ones they sell to get a good idea of the value. Tradex has dozens of Huskys, with both commercial and military actions listed.

"...what it is..." You answered your own question with "It is a Husqvarna." Made in Sweden. Very good rifles that aren't made any more. Husqvarna got out of the firearm business long ago. They make nothing but gardening tools, sewing machines, motorcycles and power tools now.
"...FFV Sports, Inc. , New York N.Y. -USA..." That'd be the original importer to the US.

Husky doesn't even make motorcycles anymore! They are made by BMW, prior to that owned by Cagiva. The name is licensed from Husky. Husky makes primarily lawn care equipment, and logging equipment. They got out of recreational products entirely a long time back, including rifles.

I checked the Tradex site.
I am now feeling more optimistic about the gamble I took when I picked the gun up. Because none of the rifles there look anything like the one I have.
Mine looks like a much nice example.
Pics to follow.

"...feeling more optimistic about the gamble..." Not much of a gamble unless you're not familiar with Husqvarna's. Top notch kit.
Think 165 grain hunting bullets. The .30-06 loves 'em and they'll kill any game you care to hunt.
