Only powder I have on hand that is suitable for it, loading for a Victory revolver.
Lots of load data for faster and slower powder then Clays so it should work.
I have lead 130/158/200gr bullets, any data would be great.

Somewhat like the time I was looking for some 9mm Browning Long data. IIRC, I used 38 S&W or 38 Short/Long Colt dies.

LEE dies come with a charge table included, it may have Clays, but I doubt it. They supply a .3 scoop, it will measure 2.1 gr of Clays. IMO a pretty useless bit of info.

I share your opinion that it should work. I looked at Pet Loads, no Clays data listed by Ken Waters. I think his article preceded the introduction of Clays.

My WAG would be to use the starting load for Bullseye.

Lyman has a fair bit of data, no Clays.

I did find this:

"Had the 38 S&W out yesterday. 158 gr .358 Round nose with Hodgen Clays. 1.8 is a nice load mild recoil. 2.0 worked well too but no better than 1.8 2.2 was a fairly hot load. Primers started to get flat. Recoil with the 2.2 was more than I need in this small revolver. My objective is to come up with loads for our clubs "retro" revolver match, only need to punch holes in cardboard.

No sign of leading at all. It seems .360 for 38 S&W information is not applicable to the post WWI solid frame Smiths. No test of how accurate the loads are yet. Am going back with 100 rounds using 1.8 and test, as well as Cronograph the load.

Boats"

Wish I could be of more assistance.

Bet I can find something here. Apparently not. Titegroup/Unique/Herco but no Clays. Although I did use it with 38 Special in the same firearm.

You can use Titegroup data as a starting point. 1.7-2.0, 200gr to 130gr.
I am using 2.0 Titegroup for 32 SWL with wadcutters.

Could try 38 Short Colt data.
