Barely two months ago I was researching options for a sub-machine gun like in non-restricted and had found two interesting options and took note of them:
Heckler & Koch USC Carbines 45 ACP
Brugger & Thomet APC 9mm

As I was thinking it might be time to look into placing an order I can’t find anything about the Brugger & Thomet APC9.
I recalled Wolverine announcing on CGN that they would be coming soon and One Shot Tactical had them on their site as well.
Now all treads have been removed it seems and both Wolverine and One Shot Tactical don’t have them on their sites anymore. Good thing that Google kept those pages in their search otherwise I would think that I hallucinated all of this.

Also the Heckler & Koch USC Carbines I’m pretty sure it was listed as non-restricted before and now all sites that carry it all list it as restricted.

Can somebody enlighten me as to what happen with those two?

I was wondering about the APC9 also.

As for the USC, it has always been restricted from the factory. You can have an aftermarket barrel made for it to be non-restricted. At one time Epps had an NR USC listed, but they had already replaced the original barrel with an NR 18.5" barrel.

In order to bring the Brugger & Thomett APC9 to the Canadian market we are having to work closely with the Canadian Firearms Authorities and B&T to perfect the design to be fully compliant with Canadian legal requirements. We removed all the information that we had previously announced as this will no longer be exactly relevant to the new “Canadian model” and this was likely to cause confusion. This whole process is proving to be a lot more time consuming that we first envisioned, so I will have to ask for your patience, thank you.

That is probably what happen. I saw the USC on Epps as non-restricted and assumed it was the same everywhere else.

I found the 18.75" barrel on DLASK. I don't mind the extra 3" if it makes it NR but having to buy the extra barrel does push the price a bit out of my comfort zone for this gun.
