SEI makes a taller dovetailed sight for 22" barrels and a shorter one for 18" barrels. When I think aboit, it makes sense - you superelevate the shorter barrel because it fires a slower bullet.

If it worked like that, then why only one height of Navy sight?
 
The sight pin on the navy sights is adjustable for height with enough travel to accomodate both an 18 inch and 22 inch barrel. Different height dovetails are required because the dovetailed sights they're used with have no height adjustment.

I need a couple.....

Smith said that they are making GLFSs as a Dovetail and Navy for our Norincos!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! at least a month until they are avail....

Quality will probably be really good!!!!!!!!!!!!!! and price I would bet is the same at $75.

Smith has the name and reputation..... for 75 EA Im in for a pair.......
