How much will you pay for a prohib license that allows you to take your gun to the range only?

700 rifles in circulation. That's gonna leave allot of people rushing the get one for grandfathering.

Update - Look like its started, One sold already for $1,700.00 on ee.

Update - Some sponseres looking into swapping ur cz858 parts into WR762. Should be intresting for guys who wanted a Wr762 and have a cz858

I'll just C/P this here....

Some around here remember where this road ends up. Ask any FAL owner that USED to get a ATT for their prohibited rifle for range use and competition. Those ATT's no longer exist and rifles that were supposed to be allowed range use are safe queens with no chance of become inheritance of an estate.

Do not, for one second forget the past. Do not, for one second think that your new ATT will last once they have enough in the new 12.X registry.

Sellers market my arse.

You really think the libtards and the queens garden gnomes will give out Grandfathering licenses with no restrictions. You need to look at the history of the Canadian gun laws.

Why go thru all the bs when you can have zero bs with a csa ?

Thats like trading in a Lambo for a Lada

^^^ his is in EE for 5 k

Once you run into serious issues with the CSA VZ58 like many of us have it becomes pretty clear. Mine was 2 years old with 5,000 rounds tops when it bit the dust and spent months at NS getting warranty work.

Time will tell.

This grandfathering is only an enticement for the owners of these firearms to register them as prohibs . Once they are registered and the govt. knows who owns them , then they will refuse to issue ATTs , and the rifle will become an expensive paper weight . Right now , the govt. has no firm idea as to who owns them ; so they have to entice folks with false promises in order get them to register them .

I see no point to 12(9) grandfathering.

You may or may not get an ATT to use them at the range....and that is there only purpose.

There are non-restricted kodiak 858s coming out, and a plethora of other decent non-restricted semi autos.

At this point, not having 12(9) means very little to me
