Sellier and Bellot .223 - Corrosive? Reloadable?

Is Sellier and Bellot .223 corrisive? Are the cases brass & reloadable?

I have been told no, I bought about 300 rounds to try out in my AR. I just havn't had a chance to shoot them yet.

Steel bullets ?

If a magnet sticks to the bullet - the light copper or whatever soft metal wash on the bullet may wear off as it travels down the bore and the steel bullet may abrade the bore quickly.

Actually is not that bad at all MATT. My AR seems to like it. It's camber 223 with a 1/9 twist rate. Frontier Firearms is were I got mine from and Marlin is the man you would want to talk to. If you are ever out at poco I will let you try some b4 you buy!

The bullet will attract a magnet but I wouldn't be too worried about that. It is loaded to C.I.P. standard so it is hotter than any SAAMI spec ammo. Works great in my Stag.
