Sellier & Bellot ammo possible for a Garand?

It won't hurt your rifle(it was designed to use .30 M1 ammo with its 174.5 grain bullet at 2647fps), but the felt recoil will be a bit more. You'd best check with your range before you try a track some down though. Not all ranges allow FMJ's. 180's wouldn't be my choice for a target bullet though.
The 168 grain Match ammo will shoot better.
 
Thanks sunray, I could not wait to get my order of AE3006M1 (still on the way, I'm not really sure there is any east of British Columbia - a sneaking suspicion of mine), so I bought a bunch of Winchester power point 150 grain and used a Mc cann plug, it's still a bit too hot, but hey it was all I could find, of course once I get myself sorted out all will be well ammo wise. - fmj - good to go. :)
