Sellier & Bellot from crappy tire

Hi,
I've shot a brick of it through a couple of rifles - an old Marlin semiatuo and a Savage Mk2. In the semiauto, it had a few more failures feed/extract/eject, but is was a litle more consistent than CCI CV. In the Mk2, it's also a little more consistent, but no failures whatsoever (same as with the CCI CV in that rifle).

Cheers,
Neil

A respected Canadian retailer stocking S&B Canadian Match .22LR ammo refers to it as "standard velocity" with a factory-rated MV of 1120 fps. Of course, the average MV will be dependent on the rifle shooting it.

Readers may note that the definition of "standard velocity" varies between sources. High velocity is usually ammo with MVs of 1200 fps and more.

I've shot it through a few different rifles.. some rugers and CZs. Did not have any good results with it.
I guess, it is worth defining a good result so we are on the same page. A good result for me is within 1MOA. I couldn't get this ammo within 1MOA.
