Sellier & Bellot - Making A Round

S&B is my first choice ammo when its avail in every caliber it shoots the best and consistent from what I have used so far in 8mm, 7.62x39, 303, 30/30 (surprisingly) and 308 for SP ammo....the only ammo which isnt better than other types is 7.62x54r of which my most accurate ammo is actually PRC fmj from a 880 case that shoots aces out of a repro sniper it's so good out of that gun....

Was wondering if it was just me (sniper, non repro), same results from the latest PRC surplus batch, about.1.25.
Tried with PPU, getting on the heavy side of 2-2.5

Love S&B ammo, reloading their brass is a pain in the @$$ tho

I fully agree. The primer pockets on all s&b brass is a royal pain in the rear. I only keep harder to find s&b brass. The rest goes into the brass bin at the range.

My M77 shoots S&B 173gr SPCE the best, and I buy as soon as I can find it. Reloading the brass, however, is a different story. The primer pockets are usually very tight, as compared to the once fired Prvi brass, and my RCBS hand priming tool often struggles to seat new primers. I usually just toss the S&B brass these days.

Thanks for posting this video, I enjoyed watching it.

I recommend finding the CCI tour showing rimfire production.
It's an excellent video as well

Never liked the 7.62x39 - PPU and Barnaul have always been better for me in this caliber
