Selling Glenfield 30A lever to friend - need help with pricing

Can't find a whole lot of information on the Glenfield 30A 30-30.

Selling to a friend as a result of getting it from a deceased relative's estate. I don't normally ask for help pricing stuff out but I want to be fair to the estate beneficiary (the son) as well as my friend.

It is in great shape, minor discoloration on one small patch of metal but hardly noticeable. Wood has nothing but a few safe kisses.

Any help would be appreciated.

my instinct tells me about $450. maybe ask for more and just say or best offer?

Yup James is right. I would go with that number.

It's not a Winchester...... I would personally value it between 3 and 4 hundred based on condition....... But that's just me.....

I don't know if the scope is decent or not, but assuming it's a cheap bushnell or tasco, I say $400 max. To a friend, maybe $350ish. Keep in mind ,the 30a is marlin's entry level lever action of the day. They are not worth the same money as an equal condition 336 of the same vintage.
