Selling gun on a stat

So I got a guy who wants to buy a gun off me, is there anyway to do a transfer today? I don't know him so I can't give it to him and transfer later, what do you think?

No, restricted transfers have to go through the cfc then cfo. Since its a holiday today neither are open to start the transfer. They would probably not give you the STATT until the transfer is completed anyway.

Restricteds cannot be given to people and transferred after. If you don't know the guy you don't know if is RPAL is valid. Wait until tomorrow and start the transfer process.

No , don't even think about it. Get the money or a down payment at least, then do the transfer, then meet him at your range to give him the gun or ship it to him.

Personal meetings for transferring restricted guns are discouraged it you don't know the person. Do you know that he has a PAL? If you still want to do it, get all his personal details including copy of PAL before you meet up. CFC is closed on weekends and holidays, a transfer of restricted cannot be done on the phone, even AB takes at least one day, many times even even 2.

If you are transferring a long gun, things look a bit different, but I cannot tell you how many times I have met up with somebody and then the person didn't buy it in the end, usually a waste of time.

Yeah, should have said rifle instead of gun. Nothing out of the ordinary here, just waiting till tommorow during business hours.
