Will do. I have already sent a note to P&D Enterprises about this. The 600 CY has a 12.5" LOP which I know will be slightly short but intend to add a stock spacer. And the OAL is the same as my BLR, which I use to hunt the same kind of bush. So even though it is sub-optimal to consider buying a gun without handling it first, I am optimistic this will work.........

Mac I wonder if the longer shotgun version of the Raging Judge called the 28 gauge Circuit Judge will ever get produced.Would be an interesting 28 gauge to bag a partridge with.

Just a update, not looking good on getting a new Weatherby 28ga. The dealer I called let me know the weekend he is having a hard time getting price and delivery from Weatherby and will call them direct this week to see what is going on. I will keep you guys posted.
 
Cabela's had some as well as No Sale Sports .Edmonton and Calgary respectively...Turkish made Weatherby's.....Harold
 
wholesale did list them and I called when they were listed they told me they were on back order. I still have not got a phone call to say mine has arrived. Again Ed Weatherby told me via phone conversation that they had to many "Quality Control issues" and that they were never released forsale.
 
latest update from Weatherby "Well, the original 28 gauge semi-auto, named Entre Rios, was scrapped; although, there's been talk of finishing development and offering the gun sometime in 2013."

Thanks for the update. I have not heard anything back from the dealer probally why. take care
 
And in late-breaking news, P&D figure they might be able to place their hands on an AKKAR 28 ga semi, in six to twelve months. Price $565, not too shabby, but it is a special order and a deposit is required.

And yes, I am laying down a deposit.......................:cool:

Glad you found what your looking for. Sounds like a overly long wait time though.

If you are looking at weatherby anything, give Clay at Prophet River a call, I believe they are direct from the factory now.
