Hi there,
I know the barett is prohib by name here, but are there any other semi auto .50BMG rifles that are available in canada?
the only .50BMGs I've seen here are bolt action (which are still just as cool of course)

thanks,
-Derek

Norinco may help you out :D ....... here's the M99 AMR:

Before you jump the gun and says that it is the AS50 knockoff, the info on guns.ru is incorrect, as it uses the AR15 style rotary bolt operation instead of tipping bolt........ also the receiver is made from milled aluminum instead of stamped steel, making it 2 KGs ligher than AS50......

Marstar are you listening?

Accuracy international makes a semi 50-cal. Talk to wolverine, I think its only ten thousand dollars.

That's funny, last I heard someone here was told they were $25,000 then he was told they won't be able to supply the civilian market in the foreseeable future.

Yeah I think they're actually more like 30K. The bolt action one is 14 grand and I doubt the semi auto is cheaper. Wolverine also had an update on their page saying they're only for LEO/MIL right now

I would say that's likely the only way the US State Dept will let them out of the country.

They are made in the UK... no state dept. stuff req.

I would thing the $25K price tag would be enough..... maybe they could throw in a couple of rounds to make you feel better about spending that much :D

that norinco gun is like the ugliest gun I've ever seen.

that said if it was cheap I'd buy one so fast. 50 cal semi = awesome

I must admit I've never been out shooting my HS50 and wished it was semi-auto. I understand the coolness factor though.
