Semi-Auto Only FG42 For Sale

On another gun forum, with reference to fg42.net, they say a semi-auto only FG42 will be available soon for $4000 USD.

I wonder if Marstar, Wolverine or any other dealers can bring some in?

That would be nice, but that is a lot of scratch. Too bad they aren't making a semi auto MG 42 also, I could really get into that.

They would have to.

There are practically no "parts kits" for Fallschirmjagergewehr.

I think they only made something like 4000 of them, and the surviving ones are all in collections or museums. Priceless.

Apparently the mag on the FG42 non firing replica interchanges with the original ............

Thanks, I saw that before. Very nice. I have heard that the semi auto version of the Mg34 has more reliable feeding and extraction versus the semi Mg42 also. Not that I would be picky or anything....

$4000 is a lot of money, but for an FG42 that I can own and shoot legally I'd gladly start donating organs to scrape together the money. Anybody want to buy a kidney?

New parts made yesterday, and receiver is redesigned for semi-auto only.

I am with you 1851 Navy I would chip in a lung, on anouther matter I payed 1200.00 for a CA MG42 and 1100.00 for a CA MG34.
The last FG42 I saw for sale the price was 12000.00.
