I was wondering if they make higher calibers in semi-automatic AR style guns that are NR.
So far the the highest i seen in the AR style is 308, I know Browning and Benelli make rifles that go up to 338 win mag i think.
But not AR style rifles.
Im in the market for an XCR M type of style NR semi auto rifle in 300 win mag or 338 lapua.

Not sure if we make anything like that here in canada, i know in the states they have ARs
In all kinds of calibers but they are more than likely all restricted.

Since i brought up the XCR, wouldnt be cool if they made higher calibers at an affordable price, like say a 300wm.
I wonder why they dont.

There are those AR style shotguns coming out now. You could put slugs through it. But I am going to assume you want much more range that this option provides. Make sure to post pictures if you do find one

Alexander Arms Ulfberht Semiauto .338 Lapua: Check it out!! And I know where one is sitting, or at least it was 3 weeks ago!

Yeah the ar style shotguns are awesome, i might pick one up actually. The mk10 looks sweet.

This is the style i love, but the $9000 price tag for a 338 is a bit crazy, well for me anyways.
Not only that but the gun is 25lbs scoped and loaded, the price and weight is 50 cal territory.

Hmm, seems like the higher calibers are rather pricey, my budget is only around $3000 without selling anything lol, so i dont have many options it seems
So lets say i back the caliber down to a 300wm or 300wsm, anyone know if they make black NR semi autos in this caliber?

the thing is with higher calibres the action, tolerances and steel must be of much much higher quality than the lower calibres, non restricted on top of that, you're looking at a 5k gun mnimum.

For a while, some guys in the states were building AR-10s in .300 WSM. I think RRA even looked at building them for a while, but I'm not sure what came of it. I don't think there's really anything out there that would do what you're looking for. I imagine that in theory a 6.5 Creedmore Robinson XCR might achieve what you're looking for ballistically but I have no idea if it even exists.

I also suggest talking to the guy who owns one that is on here before buying. It spent about a year away for warranty repair and in my correspondence with the new AA dealer it seems like the issues have not been addressed in the current production. I am still seriously considering it, just waiting for some new info

I shot the Falkor Petra indoors at SHOT this year. To say I was impressed would be a gross understatement. Imagine unleashing a .300 Win Mag with the recoil of a .223.

Patiently waiting someone to bring them here, restricted or not.
