I just bought a Winchester 140 semi 12 gauge on CGN and I'm pretty happy with it so far (as far as I can tell from firing it into the ground 6 times!)
It came with a 28" sporter barrel and a 19" smooth shorty. The short barrel has no rib and is hard to get my head down on without the comb hitting me, but the 28" is fine.
So I was swapping the long barrel back on this morning when I tried the short barrel on my 1200 pump and it fits perfectly.
I don't need anyone to tell me that it's not recommended or not safe, I'm just wondering if anyone has seen this before or had experience with it? The gas hole vents would be a potential risk, but other than that it should work.
