Hey fellas, I am currently in the market for a semi auto sporting rifle something chambered in .223/5.56.

looking for something 18", can be restricted or non restricted.

mainly shooting >150meters

something Sub $2000. any preferences or have any ideas where to look. I have seen some good reviews on Black Creek Labs as well as Kodiak but they seem very common.

looking for something user friendly that I can customize to my comfort.

Hello, I do believe 18.6" is what this new bill allows for. I am unsure about what is allowed with restricted firearms as I haven't been following the exact details following the latest laws. I do know that purchasing, trading, selling handguns is banned. I have seen a few 16" for sale again not sure on the exact regulations following the NEW laws.

I do believe the only thing I misinterpreted was the 18" ban. I have seen a few 16". Everything else I have stated there is nothing illegal about it. From my knowledge anyway.

I also already own a Savage Axis chambered in a 308. A fellow new to a group doesn't mean he doesn't own firearms. I'm just looking for a honest guys opinion. Do you know much about the Keltec RDB?

For the sake of 1/2 inch get Non Restricted
 
Signed up this month, first post was asking what is left after knowing that the ban has gone through.

Not even a introduction post. Then states "not as crazy about the politics side of it as some."
