What options are out there today for a non restricted semi automatic in 243? ATRS offered it at one point in the modern hunter but by the time I received my MH in 308, and emailed them to discuss a 243 I was told it isn't an option anymore... Bummer...

What's currently available in Canada? It does not have to be a black gun, just a semi-auto action... I already have a couple bolt guns in the calibre
 
Remington 750 I think it is and also Browning makes one, I can’t remember what it’s called. There are others I just can’t seem to think of the names. Benelli R1 is another.
 
I've had the Remington 742,BAR MK 1 and MK 2 in 243 but those models are no longer made. The Remington 750 was made in 243 but I heard the 750 is out of production. The BAR MK 3 is made in 243 but I have not tried one.
 
They would all shoot about 1" groups at 100 yards. Reliability was ok if I use dry lube in the winter. I still use the MK 2 for coyotes, it
didn't want to function with 55,58 grain bullets but it has an adjustable gas port so that problem was easy to fix.
