If it's chambered for 3", you can fit 6 of the 2 3/4" shells in the tube, one in the chamber, and a ghost round, for a total of 8 in theory (though 6+1 is probably more realistic most of the time).

Benelli M4 holds 6 + 1 + 1 when Ghost Loaded with 2.75" shotshells.

3.5 inch can fit 7 2-3/4 in the mag legally and one in the chamber plus a ghost load if the model will allow. and 2 only for waterfowl you can hunt with 2 in the mag if it was deer or bear in my area.
