I don't even want to know what this would cost but I'd love to try it out ;)

Cost? Accroding to the website, between $4500 and $6200 USD.

The bad news... according to the company it's the "world's first production .338 Lapua Semi-Automatic Rifle on the trusted AR platform."

Restricted in Canada

I have a .338 LM and I don't feel the least undergunned that I can't just keep pulling the trigger - probably because each shot costs a fair hunk of change...

How can you put a price on the enjoyment you get from pulling the trigger? I look at it as I am only going to live once and nothing else gives me as much satifaction so why not. I have been dreaming of that same rifle. Even though I love my single shot 338LAI.

I agree with 6mm Shooter, every time I touch the trigger of my TRG 42 it brings a smile to my face. You can't put a price on that kind of accurate HP!!

You have the wrong website under the picture. That is a RND 338 not a "bad news" 338. The bad news is not the first 338 production gun. RND has been making them for over 10 years. And I hope you like those pictures because I took them!

Price is not that bad for what it is. Doesn't look much like any AR I have seen and I can't imagine too many parts interchange from the size and shape of that receiver. Of course, the RCMP have never let the facts get in the way of their desired classification before. Just look at that thing, it is obvious that it will kill every kitten in the county the first time it is fired.

I don't think they can ship to Canada-semi and and 10 round mags................

Just pin them at 5 and all will be OK. Pretty minimal problem compared to convincing the US State Department to let it out of the country in the first place.

leibermuster I have shot allot of their rifles. The fit and finish are incredible and the accuracy is excellent. (usually hovering in the 1/2 moa with match ammo)
